It was cool to see them slide the patient into the machine to get the xray, and then that was it. However, during one of my shifts another tech and I had to bring someone down to get an X-ray, and I was genuinely interested in how radiology works. I can not draw blood for the life of me, and I get queasy easily. I do like working with patients but after a while I feel drained dealing with the same patients after a while. I did work as a patient care tech at a hospital for 5 months to see if nursing would be for me and did not like the amount of patient care that comes with nursing. I have decided that I want to go back to school, but I am torn between Nursing or Radiology Technologist. However, I do not use my degree and have a hard time finding a job for decent pay. I am a 24 year old female who has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology since 2019. If you have any content to suggest for the Recommended Viewing section, message the mods with a link.
